Gsr clutch porblem
i bought a 96 gsr last night and the guy said he just put an exedy oem spec clutch in becuase the throw out bearing went out of his old one but when u push the clutch down the pedal stays down about and inch or so would that mean its not bled all the way or is there another issue here causing the old bearing to go out?

i will check that tommorow thank you and also the car appears to have had a turbo on it before i got it and it smokes in the upper rpms would that lean more toward valve seals?
sounds like your clutch master cylinder is done if the pedal is already hitting the floor but, depending on the fluid level in the master cylinder is there any fluid in there? but, like the other poster stated you can try bleeding your clutch slave cylinder and see if pedal improves otherwise if you have to swap out...you need to replace both the clutch slave cylinder and clutch master cylinder at the same time and do the bleeding process again.
