Default Will a Turbonetics GTK-550 .82 A/R F1-62 turbo work in a built B20 with a ported head

I bought a GTK550 turbo and some people say its the same size as the GT35R turbo but Im not that sure.I plan to run 350whp on pump gas and 600 on Race fuel.Is this too big or should I step it down to a smaller turbo. It will be a dailey driver on low boost and high boost at the track.Just wanted some input on this turbo.I dont know anyone or who has used this turbo. It will be a in crx.
