Need help finding the torque specs for my connecting rod bolt its an 3/8" arp 2000 bolt that goes ontop my eagle rod!! lost the specs and been looking for it on honda tech and google and yahoo! cant find any thanks!!!

 

you really need to contact eagle to get the correct info. My 3/8 arp 2000s were 45 ft-lb or .0057"-.0059" stretch according to blueprintracing (the manufacturer of my rods). BUT, arp has a few bolts that I thought might be the ones i have, none of which have these exact specs.

I also recommend that you measure the bolts stretch, its more accurate than torque.

 

thanks ill try and contact eagle and measure the stretch Monday since they most likely are close on saterday n sundays..

 

you need a stretch gauge to measure with, if you didn't already know that.
