I bought an 1999 civic lx from an auction, the car had water damage but was rebuilt and running just fine. with time it begen to shift gears roughtly(auto trans). Now the car does not rev more than 3500 rpm. Any help would be great.

 

Check your trans fluid level
plus a fluid change couldnt hurt if the fluid is
nasty and your unsure the last time it was done
