Default Need Help!! Car will not go into boost, and is running very rich

Hi everyone. I am having one hell of a time trying to figure this out. I should also add this a 1992 Honda Prelude with a built H22 on boost. So I changed my plugs the other day and went out for a 30 min drive. I did a couple pulls here and there, but nothing crazy. As I was on my way back into town, I came to a stop sign. I accelerated away normally in 1st and through 2nd gear. I was building a little bit of boost in 2nd, and just as I shifted into 3rd the BOV made a much different sound than normal.

As I was driving down the road I noticed my AFR was in the 11's cruising. As soon as I would touch the gas it would go off the scale rich. I tried accelerating a little more after that and it sounds like turbo surge, and that the car is not making boost. I don't know if any of you have ever experienced what a boosted car drives like with a clogged cat, but this is exactly what it is like to me. The car does nothing. I am also running 11.5 AFR at idle.

So I talked to a couple people and they said it could be a single injector is pooched. That could be the reason why it is running so rich. So I pull my injectors out and take them to a local shop to have them cleaned and flow tested. They worked perfectly. I put them back in the car, and sure enough the same issue.

So next I do a compression test. That comes up 185 185 170 185. The one cylinder is down a little bit, but nothing to be worried about.

Next I test for spark. All good there. Could it be do to weak spark?

I tried my best to source out a possible vacuum leak, and I couldn't find anything either. I also checked if my couplers on the charge pipes possibly blew off, and nothing.

I am all out of ideas right now. This car has been mint for 4 seasons boosted, and now into my 5th season, everything is going wrong.

Any ideas are greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.

do a boost leak test to rule that out.

^Ya a pressure test is my next step, but even if there was a boost leak, the AFR should not change.

They would change since the tune is getting thrown off its dumping in fuel and its getting no air. Which will make it rich. Do a boost leak. And check the turbo

check your blow off valve to see if the diaphragm is ripped.

what is your map sensor reading when you are at idle? I bet a vaccume hose blew off. and the map sensor is sitting at atmospheric pressure..

^I checked the map sensor vacuum line as well, and it is still on there.

Yes if the car was under load, but at idle they would not change.

I still have to do the pressure test when I have time.

Thanks to everyone that has given me tips so far. I appreciate it.
