Okay so I have about $1600 and I definitely want to turbo eventually.. Not right away though.

I want to know what everyone's opinion is on where to start.

Originally I thought of the low compression non-vtec LS swap for turbo, but looking at prices, a b16 is the same price..

What motor should I throw in my EK hatch that will accept turbo the best, while remaining close to stock?

B16A? B18B? B20 vtec?

Personal preference I like b16a i know a lot of ppl like b18 but usually b18c. I would go with the B16 and call it a day thats just me tho

 

Yeah that's what I'm leaning towards for the price, maybe a GSR tranny for boost? A little bit longer gearing I think..
