I installed ES bushings and put linkage on my new b series swap, i went from an ls to a dohc vtec, so when i installed the linkage i put ES bushings in also but the shifter is sitting to the right and i also cannot get the car into 3rd or 4th, has anyone had something similar? or is my tranny bad the guy sold me with the swap. i saw one thread but guy never posted how he fixed it. like i said these parts are all on the car for the first time.

 

i would check the stabilizer bushing. i did it and i didnt have that bushing all the way through the rod. if all is well then i would suspect the trans.

 

I don't think it's possible for the trans to place the shifter to the right.

 

What tranny/linkage combo are you using? Did you use the shifter spacers correctly?
