Im building my b16 again for a little more power lol . Im changing pretty much everything , oil pump , adding darton sleeves , cp pistons , acl race bearings , eagle rods , arp head studs , and Im planning to get at least 550whp . but I don't know if the crankshaft can hold the stress . what do you guys think ?

Stock crank is Billet steel and is good all day for 550hp.

 

Crank will be fine with good tune, over 600 has been done.

 

The rods or the rod bolts will break long before the crank does, how high do you intend to rev this motor?

 

HA people there are people making over 800 whp on a stock crank.
