after my swap, i also swapped heads it was a y7 but i put a y8 head on it brand new headgasket new thermostat
yet when i hit the gas the car starts to heat up quite rapidly, more or less over heating, and ideas as to why this is?

 

if its heating up really fast its gonna be the water pump

 

well i think its still circulating,and the fan kicks on, i was thinking bc when we swapped the motor we found that the head gasket that was on there was bad and so we put a new one on and switched the head as well

 

we used a y8 auto manifold but are on a standard setup, switched the throttle bodies any idea as to if that would be the issue?
