Default give me some feedback

so i just picked up a manual 2002 civic ex 4 dr for 4650 and now ive got about 1200 to play with. i want to get a body kit and hopefully some wider tires (stock is only 185 i wanna go 215 i think) and the wheels to go with them. the kit i think i wanna get is the vision octane style kit

http://www.andysautosport.com/honda/...i00092221.html

but i cant decide on wheels or tires to get after that that are cheap enough but the tires will still be good quality and the wheels wont look like ****. im looking for ideas and feedback as im new to civics.

im tired of these threads.....put your flame suit on dude. all the em2's are good for is either a DD, or you can swap in a k20. otherwise they suck. dont do the body kit, do suspension, and find some nice wheels. i assume you were going to get something like a konig unknown. trust me, creep this site for a while then decide on what you want to do to that car.

Bodykits are dead. They're usually poorly fitting fiberglass kits that crack or shatter anyways.

Do the car right with good suspenstion, wheels, and stickier tires.

^^^^

What he said. You will regret any bodykit you think will look nice. Do research, then find a nice set of coilovers, some nice wheels, and some nice tires and work from there.

I think you mean "HIS*"

He did ask for feed backs and people gave him some straight up answers.

To OP:

Just replace the OEM grille with some RS grille, lower it on something decent, not ebays, 15-16" rims 17" if they are must haves, and you have yourself a decent DD/slow beater that will always get you 35+ mpg.

Don't slam it, especially if it is your only car, assuming so. Why would he want to trash the only car he drives by ruining any functionality it would have had.

OP, do some research on here before you start spending the money. Like others have said, you will most likely regret getting a body kit, etc. and your going to hate the poor fitment. If you purchase a body kit, and then need it painted, your money will quickly be gone and you'll be stuck with a stock civic with a huge body kit

Save your money, and buy quality parts the first time. Research brother, HT can be a tool at some points.
