17" wheels all the way down to 15" wheels, will it look retarded?
Well, i took a big step and finally sold my 17" white konig rated-r's. I was really getting sick of no traction due to crappy tires, and rolling around on wheels a little too big for my car.
However, they did look great and did a good job filling up the wheel well even though my springs give me only 1.25" drop. My question is, what do you guys think of me getting 15" bronze rota grids with azenis to replace them?
Mainly i'm getting them because they're quite cheap, and the performance aspect is better than 16 or 17" wheels. My car is a 00' EX coupe with a body kit, so i'm wondering if you guys think it will look too small and make the overall effect look "weird" or "just not quite right".
Anyway, opinions are welcome, i'll put a link of my webpage with a pic of my car before it was boosted. It still displays the wheels and body kit however.

I would say going with the 15s will be different visually and performance wise. Having lighter wheels is always good. I'm looking into getting something smaller as well. I'm still running 17s. Until I have the money I'll be stuck with it for now.

Visually, 15's with a 1.25" drop will look lower than 17's w/ the same drop.
The rule of thumb is the bigger the wheel, the lower you have to go to get it to look right. It's a 'wheel gap-to-sidewall ratio type of thing.
Trust me, it'll look better.

I would say 16" because it is almost like the 15 that you want but still is large enough not to look strange with the body kit and all....16" with so 40 or 45 profile tires will be good i think, but just my opinion.

16s would be good for the body kit he has on the car already. 15s he might be scraping the body kit though.

IMO, if you are talking strictly looks, bigger wheels look better on cars with body kits & drop. Still, I would not think the wheels being smaller will make the car look wierd, or not right, it should look fine.

I was shocked to find out that my 14" stock wheels will actually slightly rub the fender under hard breaking, and it actually fills up the fender well much more than my 17's.
Anyway, thanks for the replies, i'll have pics up in about a month once i finally get my new wheel setup good to go.

More tire, more rub. You can expect a 50series tire to fit reasonably well, depending upon the extent of your drop...

Don't go with 15" wheels with that kind of drop and that kind of kit. 16" wheels would be perfect IMHO. 15"s look too small on 6th Gen Civics.
