Default b18b bottom need to make a decision.... N/A internals

i have a bottom from a b18b
no head and one of the rods is bent

i was thingking of going turbo but i sorta like the N/A path
what can do to get somewhere around 200hp at the wheels

i was thinking of getting high comp piston/rods and getting non-vtec head from a b18/b20 and then get crower cams

what compression do i need to get that (ballpark) what piston/rod combo to use and $

oh btw i hate having people do my work so i'm gonna do all my own work. unless its imposible to.

i think it would be pretty tough to get 200 to the wheels w/o a vtec head, unless you did major/expensive work. you could just get some high comp. pistons, you prolly don't need rods, nice cams and gears (with vtec head), all the bolt-ons w/tuning should get u close to 200 at the wheels.

All I have to say is nothing is impossible; you can work on your motor yourself as long as you know what you doing, but if you don't, good luck on firing that sucka up. And you can go as fast as your wallet allows; I've seen 200whp ls with no vtec head; it's possible.

Wow I'd love to see that motor. What parts? Cams in particular?

read my post... thats what i said, on JGs engine dyno

im not sure what set up he was running
besides the fact it was stock stroke/bore LS non vtec, Carb'd

The set up i said was just off the top of my head. 200whp is easily attainable NON VTEC

dude, can you please go further into detail on how a non vtec engine hit 260whp?

something does not add up here. nitrous?

how is 200whp easily attainable on a non vtec engine?

list some mods on how you can get their easly.

When Mr. Leone was refering to JG having an engine dyno,i think he was trying to say that fugumanwas asking for 200 to the wheels.Im sure 260 would be in the ballpark of 220-230 to the wheels. And besides....most stuff that i hear that comes from JG doesnt last very long anyway.

Theres a B20 at inline pro that made 170 WHP. Stock block. Just Crower cams in the head. If it had some high compression pistons...200 whp would be easy.
