Default Del Sol d16z6: Is the 4-1 or 4-2-1 header best for my car?

Looking into getting new headers for my del sol d16z6. Wanted to know which set up would be best for my car 4-1 or 4-2-1?

4-1 are annoying as hell to find, but those are the ones I want.

also I was wondering what companies make CARB legal intake manifolds ie Skunk2, OBX, Edlebrock? Any opinions on throttle body spacers and would a stock throttle body bolt up to an aftrmkt intake manifold? Anyone in the Sacramento/Davis area have any opinions on these businesses? Top Speed, or SMA?

^An afterarket intake mani or throttle body would be an absolute waste of money.

^Thank you. And even then, high compression is a reach. Bolt on's really only work on K series.

those bolt ons still help, they help more if theirs boost or even going all motor, but it will still help on a stock motor

in actuality it won't give you noticeable gains vs a stock car. but it is the standard, which I use also.

Stock z6 header is ur best bet don't waste ur money on a header. if u want the car to go a little faster get a chipped Ecu cat back and cold air. done.

their negative about them because you have to boost to make any real power quick out of a litte D where as tb, im, and a "header" not header"s" bolted on a B makes good power and we don't have to be boosted to be quick, that's why when i had a d i blew it to pieces and swaped for the B for my very first swap

OP: get an eBay header or go to your local shop and buy one for less than a hundo, those will suffice.

later on down the road i am hoping to do a B18C1 swap, though I have never swapped anything before. Took me 21 years to finally hit the tuner world lol. Before that I was driving a stock 1990 Corolla 5pd DOHC 1.6L, after that it was a 2004 Civic Hybrid, then I finally bought my Del Sol Si. I just need to amass the funds to do so.
