Default turbo leaking oil

So here the deal. I have a d16zc sohc vtec.
My turbo was leaking oil all into the IC pipes so I got a new one thinking that was my only problem because everything appeared to be ok. it started leaking instantly after I installed it and I only drove about 50 miles on it.

after that I tore my motor apart because it was getting a ton of blow-by and it turns out the ringlands where shattered, while I had it all torn apart I found out the return set-up was not nearly as cool as I thought it was, it was super jank.

so I have all new fittings into the oil pan and some braided steel -10an line. and a new feed set-up as well, it was restricted before, but im switching to -3an feed lines.

anyways I have my rebuild done and im putting things back together, but im concerned about the turbo.

would that return line cause oil to pass the seals, but not completely screw them? Im trying to figure out the possiblity that the turbo might still be fine if the return is working well, or if it just blew out the second I hooked it up and a just got myself I nice snail paperweight.
