Default Bogging with AC on

Ive had this problem ever since i got this car. Whenever the AC is on the car really seems like its being bogged down. Sometimes it is ok through certain rpms and then it bogs and other times its rough all through the rpms. What could this be? thanks in advance

Does the condenser fan run when the A/C is on?

Is the condenser heavily clogged (bugs etc.)?

Is the system overcharged with refrigerant?

OP, since it's happened since you bought it, the last owner may have charged it incorrectly. As Ron told me about a month ago, when charging the system, you need to pull a vac line to keep air out of the lines.

There may be air in your system.

If th A/C is not overcharged, or the fan is not running slow, or the cond fins arent plugged up. I would check the health of the engine. Plugs, wires, cap, rotor and such. Make sure the valves are adjusted properly.
