So... I have a 94 VX and I swapped a Z6 Intake Mani and Throttle body onto the D15 yesterday. Now it idles really wierd. It bounces really fast between about 700-1000 RPM, up and down up and down. So far I have...

-Disconnected the IACV, jumped the ecu harness, and set the idle with the idle screw
-Cleaned the IACV and FITV
-Ran all brand new vacuum hose as per the underhood vacuum diagram
-Bled the coolant like 29 times
-Checked for vacuum leaks (none)
-Cleaned the IAT sensor
-Checked TPS Voltage (i set it to .5v closed and 4.5v WOT)

I have a CEL Code 14 (IACV). Also, when the IACV power connection is connected the throttle body produces a loud hissing sound from the hole inside and infront of the butterfly. If i disconnect the IACV the sound goes away and the car runs somewhat better.

Any Ideas....

 

Did you make sure to change the gaskets? And make sure everything is tight on there(just dont overtighten anyting).

 

Yeah all new gaskets direct from honda and I torqued everything

bump, already cleaned the FITV and bypassed it at one point

 

Sounds like a bad IACV, but check the IACV wires first.

 

not hyjaking your thread but i pretty much have the same problem. shity idle only after its warm and there is a loud hissing noise and i have code 13
