Default trouble keeping coolant in coolant reservoir and radiator

i recently got a 95 civic coupe with a gsr swap. ive noticed the lil coolant reservoir keeps goin dry and i keep filling it up. it has the stock civic radiator. i was told by a guy i work with ,he had a ls turbo integra), well any ways he said that it sounds like the radiator is burning it. i dnt c any laeks and the motor isnt burning it (no white smoke). what could b it? i was planning on buy a fluidyne radiator 4 it but i dnt no if thats gonna fix it. any advice would b greatly appreciated. thanks in advanced.

It can be a few things, a failed radiator cap or a failing head gasket. Pressure test the cooling system and do a leakdown test.

As mentioned, start by pressure testing the cooling system.

it's common for the lower rad hose to leak some were it connects to the rad on SOHC rads. the smaller inlet on the civic rad requires a little extra tightening on the hose clamp or it will drip out just enough to dry your tank but not form a puddle under your car. make sure you have a worm style clamp and NOT a factory one and make sure it's a s tight as it can be (don't crush the rad inlet though obviously). I've seen this alot so it just may be your problem also.

The coolant system is sealed and won't allow coolant to evaporate so if your losing it and not overheating you likely have a slow leak or drip. it's not "burning up through your radiator" as suggested

Not always. A bad head gasket can manifest in multiple ways and be somewhat difficult to diagnose. Rule out the simple before setting your site on the head gasket.
