Default Over heating issue, need help.

I have a 95 Honda Accord 2.2L vtech. I notice the temperature going up lately use to run real cool now the temperature reads above the half way mark. My coolant reservoir is getting filled up. Top hose is hot, bottom hose is cool. I replace the Coolant its new, all new hoses and i don't see any coolant leaks.

I wanted to get some ideas from everyone before replacing thermostat or radiator cap.

If your bottom radiator hose is cool, this may be indicative of the thermostat not opening.

Even though it may be the thermostat, also check that the fans are operating. The radiator fan is the right side one (passenger side). Unplug the connector plug on the thermo-switch on top of the thermostat housing. Thermostat housing is near the back of the engine, connected by the lower radiator hose. Jump the connector thermo-switch plug with a wire or small paper clip. Then turn key to 'on', the fans should turn on. If not, it could also be a bad fan motor.

also if one is hot and the other is cold it could be a clog in the actually radiator

Thanks for the input, ill take the thermostat off and test it.

By the way, the fan works fine, i hear it running all the time because the temperature is up.

I doubt the radiator is clogged ive flushed it and put new coolant in.

The thermostat is an 8.99 part, and it's such an important part of your cooling system, if you haven't changed it since you can remember, it's wise just to swap it out.

And you bled the cooling system after the work? Has this idle been funny. Trapped air in the cooling system can cause issues as well. Be sure to bleed the system after opening it up.

Awesome yall, i replaced the termostat and bled the air out of the system. The temperature is running really cool below half way on the gauge. Looks like that was the problem.

And ya i haven't ever replaced the thermostat as long as i remember. Since i was in there thought i replace air filter, rad cap, pcv valve too. Runs awesome thanks for all your tips.

Im gonna start another thread for my other problems lol (my speedometer gauge stops working randomly, abs light on, air bag light on).

Is it possible to fix the circuit board? Is it a common problem?

I don't see too much problems with the circuit board.
