I did a whole tune up about 2 months ago so i don't think its spark or anything like that. New battery, my lights and radio stayed on, so i don't think its anything electric.

Im thinking its something with the fuel..

Let's start by cleaning batterie poles and your grounds and fuses then check if u can hear the fuel pump.check for spark

 

you might be flooded by fuel

 

Check for a vacuum leak. If you have a bad hose it will not run long.

 

have you tried starting it after it died?

 

it did turn on fine after it died and it stayed on. it has never died on me while its running, only once i start it up.

some one else told me it could be flooded by fuel, but my tank was between the half way and empty point.
