Icon2 EMERGENCY!! Car Wobbles like crazy

So My 1999 civic ex drives smooth up to 50 mph, it was sitting on stock shocks with coilovers, and 16 inch DR-20's, i just installed buddy club N+ spec coilovers on the car and rotated my tires putting newly balanced with new tires in the front. now i commute every weekend 105 miles one way. When i drive passed 50 mph if i push on the accelerator my car wobbles like crazy, best explanation is drive with really loose lug nuts. my steering wheel doesnt shake or vibrate but i can feel my pedals and my whole car shaking like it wants to fall apart. if i down shift the shaking gets worse. it cant be balancing of wheels cause they are new tires which i got put on a shop. also the shaking is more like a left to right strife not up and down like hitting a bump. anybody have any solutions? im super desperate. its not cool driving in the mountains in the middle of no where and your car is constantly wobbling. feel free to ask any questions for a better diagnosis. thanks.

Does it shake when accelerating hard up to 50mph?
If you aren't getting any shaking in the steering wheel, and it feels like it is coming from the front, then it sounds like bad axles (mainly bad inner CV joints).
However if it started immediately after changing the BuddyClub coilovers & rotating the tires, then it's more likely one of those.
Try rotating the tires back to how they were before the shaking started, and see if it changes (not likely if there's no shaking in the steering wheel).
Another thing, check all the suspension bolts you undid to change the coilovers. Make sure everything is tight. Did you neutralize all your suspension bushings before tightening the bolts? If not you could be getting bushing bind.
To neutralize suspension bushings: loosen the suspension bolts, load the suspension (either the car sitting on the ground or the jack stands holding the car up by the suspension not the lift points), tighten the suspension bolts.

nah it shakes after 50, before i put the new suspension on it was having the same problem, also the same before the tire rotation. we also check the suspentsion bolts.

damn axles? that sucks haha

I would try another set of wheels first, and check all your work again. Thats free. Then check axles and consider alignment. if you lowered the car more then it was before and didnt align it you will need to anyway or you will wear out your new tires from excessive toe out.

I would try new wheels, if it still shakes afterwards then i would think it would be an out of balance axle

If the CV joints are worn, Then yes you will have an out of balance axle.

It could also be a combination of REAR tires/wheels being out of balance.

NOTE: if you feel a shake in the steering wheel the front is out of balance, and if you feel a shake in the seat... it's the rear.

But axles seem to be the cause. Remember worn suspension components and out of balance tires/wheels only hide other causes for concern.

i also looked at my axles today and they look very much intact, but i went ahead and bought me new axles

as for another question, can alignment issues give me that bad of a wobble problem? i would think it would just pull the car to one direction or mis align the steerwheel and also bald out the tires quicker??

really just souns like an inner cv joint.

i find its usually the left hand one that goes.

take it out and take it apart, clean out the grease from the inner cv cup and run your finger along the flat sides that the bearinrs run on, you will prob find one spot is worn, pitted, it catches the bearing and stops the cv joint from articulating properly!

also check the spider the bearings go on for cracks, iv broken one of them before too!

A vehicle being out of alignment will NOT cause a wobble. And .50 out is a bit much.

Once again... is it wobbling under acceleration or all the time?

EDIT: Another stupid question but may help.

Are the wheels set up for your car or are they hand me downs from another make of vehicle?
Did this happen before you installed the wheels?

thanks for clearing the alignment issue.

wobbling only occurs when i push the accelerator, when its coasting in gear or nuetral the car runs smoothand does not wobble, and the lower i down shift the harder the wobble.

the wheels are made for honda, 4x100 +38 offset 16x7 205-45-16

yea iv gone through a few driveshafts now and it always gives that same issue, floor it an you think the car is gonna fall apart, ha!

you can look all you like on a lift and you wont see anything until you pull apart that inner cv joint!

get those new ones in there man ant you be fine!

This happened to me on a 45 min drive today too, I'd hit 60 and almost on a dime the car would shake...

Turned out my hood was popped. Could've ended much much worse.
