Default Amp power cable

Ok so I have a 94 civic dx and I can't find a hole in the firewall to feed the amp power cable. If you guys know of any let me know or take pictures if you can, thanks.

If you cant find a hole, make one. Just make sure youre not drilling through anything important. Install a grommet so the bare metal doesnt cut through the wire too.

Left side of your battery towards the bottom, there should be a spot there.
I hate drilling into anything if not required.

You won't just see a hole. Look for a black grommet to push out or drill thru. Should be one behind the glovebox.

I agree about the drilling! But I took that grommet out and theres no hole? Theres like something behind it.

the "something behind it" i think is firewall pad, i just pushed it down and found it under the carpet. kinda tricky around there because of the heater and fan motor, but that little grommet is the best place.

This man speakes the truth.

What i did, was pass the wire in, and then look for it on it the side, it can be a little difficult.

You could also cut a hole thru the firewall pad.

theres already plenty of space.
I was able to fit a 0 guage in, without taking anything out, and didnt have to cut the firewall mat, There is no reason to do that.

Make sure you use a GOOD grommet when you run it through the firewall if you are NOT running it through a rubber grommet, I have always used these or a variant of these with GREAT success, PLUS they are on sale right now for the Monster cabel ones and you get 2 of them where as other companies only give you 1

Cut a hole in the stock one and pull the wire through, and your done.
I like to cut it a bit smaller so it is a tight fit.

I have a 95 Civic EX. My A/C doesn't work, so I just pulled the A/C drip hose out and ran my wire through there.
