Default Need Help With CEL/TDC code 43 95 ej1 D16Z6

I keep getting TDC/CEL 43, car runs fine for about 10 minutes then starts to run as if it's running out of gas when at half throttle. Push to full throttle then it stops acting up. It has me stumped. It's really annoying too cause my coupe is running like S**T right now. THANKS

I'm having the same exact problem; What ended up being the culprit?

That particular issue is now "fixed" for me. . . I went thru sensor connections- cleaned and greased. removed iav and map sensor and cleaned. After a few ecu resets and this playing around, it's gone away.
For the last test drive it idled very low with no cel or motor hesitation/bog under acceleration, but when you hit the brakes, cel threw code 3 and the idle changed to a surge (1000-1600) anytime the brake pedal wasn't depressed. other than that it drove great.

Reset the ecu again, and now the cel wont come on and the idle is too low. Brake pedal cause stall unless you counter the rpm drop with the gas pedal. Timing was on at 800rpm idle, and there is no more adjustment on the idle screw.

If your still thrown tdc code, I'd try checkn that sensor first. Just follow the haynes manual, it's a continuity check on the the dist plug I believe.
I'm not sure at all what was causing my issues with the tdc code and the way it was running.
last 2 days my car refused to start. no cel, no spark. guessing electrical, possibly fried ecu. (Rainwater got in on floor and ecu connections were gunked up from a class c fireestinguisher going off in the car) Now no spark and the yellow/green wire to dist only shows .25 volts when cranking. (coil, icm, and three sens in diz including tdc all check out)

So I'm probly the wrong one to ask. not having fun right now.

But good luck, just try the tdc sens check first.

EDIT= Coil was one K under spec for resistance. Decided to replace it and car now runs again. I guess I f'd it up when pulling a plug wire from diz and letting it arc to diz to check for a miss in that cyl. won't do that again.

The dirty connections at ecu may have been the cause of my trouble with tdc code and un-driveability. while cleaning them further the car was throwing all kinds of codes. I can't understand why it was running like it was though, and now it's back to "normal" with the surging high idle. The brakes have no effect on idle now and cel 3 for map comes up again. (checkd it- it does need replaced)
take what i can get with this old POS. 285k on my crx hf with the d16z6 I've been beating the **** out of with who knows how many miles.
