CTR b16b swap in eg chassis questions
just had a few simple questions about doing a CTR swap in my EG hatch. i have a b20 VTEC in there now that was going to be boosted but it has been burning a hole in my pocket. i may buy a full CTR b16b swap from toronto JDM or Hmotors instead.
a few questions i have are
- wiring... i have a z6 harness that i plan on keeping and was going to use my OBD1 dizzy and alternator to keep the wiring instead of having to use a jumper harness. is this possible?
- has anyone driven in a CTR swapped car and how does it pull?
- is it worth the extra $700 for an ITR swap or even $1200 less for an SiRII?

you will hate going to a torqueless 1.6L if you have a B20 vtec right now, at the very least get the 1.8L
I had a B20Z in my last hatch, it was a lot of fun!!!! When i sold it in favor of an EM1 with the B16A, i hated the loss in power, b20 was way better. I had an extra B18C type R, just finishing rebuilding it to new specs, and getting it to replace the B16, it happening very soon, can't wait!!!
