CTR swap info???
Any body out there in honda-tech land know of a ctr swap in a 92-95
hatchback? I was just curious how strong they are since for less chedda
one could get an itr swap...
Any takers, also if so do you know of any cars he may have stripped with it...
lol.lol. of course on the track---silly me

Re: CTR swap info??? (WR93EG)
Sorry guys...
ctr civic type-r b16b @185 hp
itr integra type-r b18c5 @195 hp
reason being is the ctr engine has a healthier intake cam and the rods
are supposed to be stronger...I was just curious.

Re: CTR swap info??? (jonas)
ok best way i can put it...
has anybody ran a hatchback (92-95) that had a confirmed ctr swap in it???
and if they did...Was it a clean run...
reason is i need a really good reason to drop @4-5k on a swap for my
stripped EH2---I thought about being different and getting the ctr instead of
the itr....Sorry for the misunderstanding.

i can understand the whole being different thing, but definately not when it comes to a motor

OK I probably will justb go with the itr swap...
I have a good friend with that swap in a 93-si
and I can say it is very impressive.
I guess the best part of it is that it could run
an easy 100k miles and still perform.
gotta love honda engineering.
