b18c obd2 into crx
Here is what I did.
I took the B18C engine harness and the 1988 CRX si engine harness and sent it to Rywire who made me a custom harness that was plug and play. Then you can either use a OBD0-0BD2 conversion harness and use the stock B18C ECU or use a OBD0-OBD1 conversion harness and use a OBD1 ECU.
With Hasport mounts my hood barely hits the valve cover on the drivers side

i would not recommend trying to convert the crx to obd2, it'd be a pain in the dick. use the stock rex harness, do an obd0 to obd1 conversion, and add wiring as needed (vtec, o2, etc).
as far as using the dc linkage, i've never heard of anyone doing so, and no idea what it woudl take to make it work.

Yeah I just don't wanna pay 120 for linkage. My buddy has a welder and if I can just cut it down to size I would much rather do that since I already got everything. though I will check the local junk yards and see if they have DA linkage for cheap.
Also wouldn't I have to change a few things to make the motor plug into obd1? like distrib and couple other things?

you would need the ecu, and then the distributor. or you could just repin the obd2 dizzy you have with obd1 plugs since they are the same internally.
as far as using the obd2 harness by all means have at it. i would much rather use the stock obd0 harness than deal with the headache that would most definitely insue after attempting what you're suggesting. you'd either have to repin wire by wire obd0 plugs onto the ek harness, or switch ek plugs for the obd0 ones at the shock tower. and even if you do all this, you STILL have to run seperate wires into the cabin for the things i mentioned above. really no benefit to going this route. unless you consider monotonous tedious work a benefit

With my previous B16b all i did was:
-kept stock Si harness
-used obd-0 to obd-1 ecu jumper harness
-chipped p28
-obd-0 to obd-1 distributor jumper harness
-kept obd-2 injectors, just rewired them

So If i were to do it your way can I use my plugs on the motor or do I need obd 0 plugs? I would assume I just use all obd1 plugs on the motor /w stock harness plus add the stuff you mentioned. how much work is it to change all the plugs? then I still need a conversion harness plus ecu ether way I suppose.
don't have to change any plugs besides at the distributor, and injectors depending on what you're running. virtually all the obd0 connectors plug into the obd1/2 components. i believe the only thing you have to rewire is the fan switch from the back of the block to the thermostat housing if i recall. and you don't have to worry about the ckf sensor or extra evap bs because the obd1 ecu won't look for it.
I thought obd2 injector plugs were the same as obd1. I am gonna stick with my obd2 injectors though. I can find some plugs. If I am not gonna use my EK harness I would rather not butcher it up. I might as well sell that separately as a plug n play swap harness.
I will avoid buying conversion stuff whenever possible. especially if its 12 wires or less I am dealing with. I think I can handle that.
