Default Wont rev above 3000????

1996 accord 2.2 non vtec...just replaced belt and rebuilt the head....the motor will start.....but idles very rough and wont rev above approx 3000 rpms.Ant ideas?

Just check if there is any problem with the modes you have done.Did same thing happen earlier?

Since you just rebuilt the head then you had to disconnect the battery and the ECU is having to relearn everything. You are probably justy gonna have to go thru a drive cycle and then your car should be ok.

I had a problem with my car, but it couldnt rev above 2.500. I had a loose wire to the crankshaft position sensor. Check that might be it.

First if you have any CEL take care of that. Recheck cam timing.
