So I was driving today the 2nd day of fully driving my car boosted and all the sudden a popping noise was coming out of my exhaust. Checked everything and come to find out that the bolt on the cold side of my turbo back out halfway and when the popping happend the fan stopped spinning. anybody else had this happen? Or any suggestions????

 

Probably wasn't put back together properly after it was clocked. Does there appear to be any damage to the turbine?

 

awww, that sucks... I thread lock my bolts after clocking just because of this reason!

 

well the fan is hitting the housing in one spot now and *****ing, and the shaft play is horrible now. ****ing egay

 

I'm surprised people still get mad when there china ebay turbo has problems....

 

^^ true but theyre hit or miss my buddy has had one for 2 years no problems
