Make sure it is really caput, either leaking or physically broken or clogged. I personally can never get bleeding right and just let someone else deal with my hydro systems but I have done it and needless to say its kind of a B. Best of luck.

If the seals in the master cylinder are bad, your brake pedal will slowly sink to the floor when you apply pressure. However, as long as you maintain pressure, the car will still stop fine.

the problem im having is that when i apply pressure to the brakes they go all the way to the floor. My car still slows down i just have to pump my brakes so they wont go all the way down. if i have steady pressure on the pedal it just keeps going down

Sounds like the seals in the master cylinder are bad or you have a lot of air in the lines for some reason.

If you thoroughly bled the system and there are no fluid leaks, then the master cylinder is probably bad.

Call some local auto parts stores to compare prices. Many will come with a lifetime warranty.
