Default Accord probs

i am posting this for a friend. he has a 1993 honda accord ex auto w/ a little over 100k and i/h/e. he just added the mods about 5 months ago and recently it has lost power. it doesnt pick up like it did 3 months ago. it just lags. he replaced the fuel filter, distributor, wires and other misc stuff but the car still isnt the same and nobody has given him a straight answer as to what it could be. i was wondering if any of you accord owners have gone through this or know somebody that has. thanx

Is it a short Ram intake or a CAI?

Is it a substantial loss of power? Did he notice poorer gas milage as well? Have you checked if h/e have any holes in them or not connected properly in the joints?

cai, i dont think he has touched his ecu, and i dont think anything else is wrong w/it, i.e. he hasnt mentioned poorer gas mileage or anything of that nature. as far as i know it is a substantial loss, even i feel it when i ride in his car.

my car has started this lately too.. and i mean it runs fine otherwise.

i've often wondered if my map sensor or egr is the cause... seems like you stomp on it... car thinks... ECU then goes into WOT open loop and then proceeds to haul ***.

i however have 258,000 miles
