Scorched up Cylinder Walls ?, and the pistons look screwed. The car was overheating, and I pulled the motor out of the car and decided to take it apart.

Can anybody tell me if the cylinder walls are still good and re-usable ?

Its kind of hard to tell if the block is good by looking at the pics. It is not unusual to see scored up walls on a motor. Are the scores deep? Do you see any cracks? Is the block sleeved at all? Really the best way to tell is to have a machine shop look at it and see if they can bore and hone the block and still keep it in spec. I am not sure how much you can bore out a jap engine block but I know on some vehicles you can go like .060 over stock bore. Hope this helps some........
