If you dont replace the O2 sensor, you will have a CEL, otherwise, you will see a power gain.

Well I think it will be fine, since the O2 sensor is before the cat. However, I do think that you should leave it on, since you will notice a bad smell from your car.

If you do that collector mod though, you would need to drill a whole for the O2 sensor.

if your doing the collector mod have a machine shop cut and weld in the old o2 sens. bung into your new collector. there is some gain with replacing the stock cat with a freeflow, sabastian just did this like a week ago. the bad smell subsides in 1-2 days depending on how much you drive.

collector mod? I hate to ask stupid questions...but how does the collector mod work?

I was just going to have a local shop remove my cat and weld a pipe in its place

Is there something else I should be doing?.....we looked at it and the O2 sensor does not appear to be on the cat...so I shouldn't get a CEL right?

thanx

If it's a 95 you got no worries homie. Just goto http://www.testpipe.com and order that bitch up. That's where I got mine and it's a good one. I have a nice rassssp too

Definitely a power gain. I have a 97' so... OBD-2 Sucks... but yers is OBD-1 so no worries as far as a CEL.

i never threw a CEL with my 96 just get your o2 bun welded at the back of the cat at an angel.

do not get a freakin test pipe or a straight piece of pipe get a REAL free flow cat with the honeycombed inside. you should be able to get one local for 50-70bux

its more involved it is the only way to have a true "Full Exhaust" for an accord becuase the stock o2 sensor houseing is 1.75 in diameter so if you replace everything but that at one point your exhaust flow is still 1.75 there is a post on doing this, will be doing it over the winter.

dont.

if you weld just pipe thats the same thing as a test buy and me personally i wouldnt do that on a daily driver.

enviormental reasons depending on where you live, what is the power difference between a honeycombed open cat and a test pipe?

Only import guys love high-flo cats
what the hell does that mean?

I did a write up on disabling the 2nd O2 sensor. I got the info off a mustang site so I bet itd work for most OBDII cars.

Been working for a year now.
