Your daytime running lights are just your low beams running on low voltage I think. So when you have your low beams on at night there is no DRL. Also I have the ddm tuning HID's and after you install your kit the ballast must interrupt the low voltage signal for you DRL and they wont work and you will get a light on your dash that says DRL telling you that there is a problem.

The ballast for your HID steps up the voltage and the low voltage for your DRL must not be enough to turn on the lights.

^Nothing because they won't work anymore. I don't think you can get the light off your dash.

The DRLs are your high beams (9005), not lows (9006).

When you turn on your headlights (low), your DRLs will be OFF, don't know how you'd get "tri color" at night, unless you turn on your highs or wired your DRLs to turn on.

Pull the DRL fuse and you won't have to worry about the DRL light

x2. read the chart in the owner's manual, it'll tell you what fuse to pull. the chart might also be on the fuse box cover, don't remember.

There is a DRL fuse 7.5 A under dash fuse box, never pulled one out will have to see what happens...According to the wireing diagram it shows not used...The DRL is part of The MICU now and sends reduced volage to the high beams once it sees vehical ign on and parking brake off.

The DRL fuse is #37, it is used.

By pulling the fuse, nothing is gonna happen besides disabling the DRLs.

Your lows (9006) are seperate from everything. Your highs are the drls at higher voltage. The only time you will see three lights is when you have your highs on. If you bought 6k like I did it isn't noticeable.
