1st, the Setup: B16a w 550 Venom's, Holley Upgrade Pump, stock FPR, and a ZDyne Gold ECU.

What fuel startup % is everyone using on their Z-Dyne? I've run everything from 0 <VERY hard start> on 10% increments to 120% <fouled plugs> without anything starting in less than 5-10 seconds of cranking away.

Any help?

 

Have you looked at your main relay? maybe it isn't priming the system properly?

I can hear the fuel pump cut on, and stop a few seconds later.. Then I try to start it. I always let the pump cut off before trying to start it.

 

What about spark? if you are getting a weak spark won't that also make the car hard to start?

 

I've boosted 10-12 PSI without high RPM sputtering, I'd think that the Spark is strong enough

 

My crx developed a starting problem, then eventually wouldn't start.. turned out to be the ignitor....
