Default car been dead for 3 days...NEED HELP

o.k so i drove my car (93 civic coupe with b16 swap) that morning and everything was fine.. later on that night when I tried to start the car up it sounded like it turned turned over for a split second then it just went dead... car dose not click or crank over nothing. all the light and power options still works so it not the batteries. checked the starter on another car, and car started up just like that. all the wiring seems good. the only thing i can think up right now would be the dizzy... but just want your guys thought about this....

Sounds like a solenoid, you might have bumped it enough to make it work when you swapped it.

When starters go bad, you can smack them with a hammer and crap and they'll engage next time you try. It won't last long though, you'll crack the magnet soon enough.

Like Delsol said, bad starter.

Did the rubber stopper that presses on the clutch pedal safety switch break or fall out?

if not that ^ then check to make sure you don't have a loose connection at the starter or at the battery.

I think RonJ@HT nailed it, but I'll share a tip with you anyways. To check for a good connection at the battery, turn your key on, headlights on, turn the battery terminals until your headlights come on. Then try to start the car. One other thing, if your ground wire from the valve cover to the core support has a bad connection, your car will not start.

could be a wire that is connected to the alternator that makes it charge.
i had the same problem,my alternator wasnt generating the 2volts that it needs,so i was driving on just battery power until it lost voltage.
took the alternator to a local auto zone.
they said it was good.
my friend did a electrical test.and find out one of the wires wasnt letting it charge, bad connection.
