iacv help
fully aware that this topic has been covered several million times, i've attempted to fix the issue using the suggestions and still throwing a CEL...
so here's the situation:
- swapped a b20b into an EK
- using a p2e-c11 ecu (obd2b)
- CEL: jumper thing under the glove box tells me the code is 14, OBD2 scanner tells me P1059 - so both are telling me it's the IACV is the issue
here's what i've done:
- followed this diagram to solve the 2 pin IACV plug (instead of the 3 pin that the ECU is expecting
no fix
- cleaned the IACV - no fix
- changed to another IACV - no fix
- tested both IACVs by plugging it directly to the battery - both pass the "click test"
- checked the wiring going into the ECU: B23 gives me 12V, ground on the IACV plug is okay
Still got the CEL... i've tried reseting the ECU a couple of times (fuse out, neg pulled off)... testing for vacuum leaks as we speak...
any suggestions or should i just off myself as it's easier???
Thanks in advance.
