Default g23 question

Which bottom end and which head work the best. I can get a good deal on a f23a1 right now, and was wondering if it was worth picking up.

None. Its not an lsvtec. Its useless and unreliable. People have done it and made it work.

And mixing an f and an h doesn't make a g. A g series is a 5 cylinder acura motor.

Compression will be 8.8 to 1! Kinda doggy. I used k20a3 pistons for about 10.3 to 1.

On the stock rods? Are those the same bore size as the f23a1?

The dimensions are the same. But in order to have the same pin offset, Youll have to install the k pistons backwards because The K spins in a diiferent direction than the F. Youll also have to enlarge the exhaust valve reliefs to match the intake valves. If you use aftermarket pistons, none of that will be an issue because they have 0 offset. PirateMcfred is the trailblazer when it comes to the G23. He has a build tread in the Prelude section.

I saw that one, I was thinking about using that as a guide.
