Default steering gear gaiter

hello today i saw that my (i hope it`s correctly translatet) steering gear gaiter is damaged. the lubrication grease is running down and now it completly emty no fat inside anymore. i lowered my car a lot. i think it's because the strenght of the whole stearing gear is different after i lowered.
are there tighten axle driving shafts for em2s which gather the forces better or sth like this?

i hope you understand what i mean.

If it's not clicking I'd just replace the boot and repack it with grease. Around here it's $10-20 USD. Look around here or another forum for the knuckle removal d-i-y. Going to a dealer your looking at a lot of labor costs because you have to remove the knuckle.

that is the picture i posted, we call them an axle.

Your CV joint is wore, i would replace the entire axle.

really? its fairly cheaper here since you dont have to pay labour to replace the joint.

you can replace the CV joint and boot.

Have you rebuilt an axle before? If not, you might be better off just buying a whole new one.
