shes got a b20b swapped 2001 integra
anywhere in the puyallup area that can try to fix it?
something keeps humming after the car is shut off and key out.
it happens evey minute or so, only for a second or two.
it is killing her battery and we need it fixed, or we will pobably sell it.

anywhere around tacoma/puyallup/seattle will do.
just want it fixed, and i dont want to do it, as i am in the middle of my MR2's 3rd gen swap

or if anyone can hook us up with a mint 2001 integra body wiring harness, and a b20b engine harness that'll do too

i believe the humming is her fan turning on to cool down the engine bay.

i would suggest wiring it to a switch so the fan is switch operated but i have no idea how to do that. someone eles might know how to. or there might be a d.i.y. post somewhere

 

no, its not the fan, its coming from behid the motor, and i know what the fan sounds like plus i can see the fan not moving.

its more of a wheezying/whine sound. like a fuel pump, but even with the fuel pump unplugged, and the fuse pulled, it still does it

 

where r u at in puyallup i could check it out for u and posibly fix it for u if not fluid motorsports or speed factory in tocoma r the best shops that i know of in the area

 

Bring it by our shop. We can definitely figure out your issue and at the cheapest cost around.

they are weird.
i live up in bonney lake (15 min from south hill) and it'd be much nicer to work there as i have a full selection of tools, and a flat-ish driveway. hers is not.

sorry i didnt respond sooner i messed up my laptop and am just getting it figured out my house is located right at the end of shaw road and military if you wanted to swing by here i have every thing i would need to identify the problem if not then cory at fluid is the way i would go but i have been working on cars and trucks my entire life for a living and for fun
