Default breather tank - possibly a silly question?

i've noticed some guys run breather tanks and some don't and leave the PCV system all stock in their boost setups..my question is will these guys more than likely blow and have a shorter engine life? i run a breather setup because everyone including my tuner said i should..i guess you can say i was just really curious about this maybe even concerned..

Foced induction motors should have some type of crankcase ventilation. Stock Honda PCV only works under vacuum so in boost the crankcase pressure has no where to go. it can hurt the motor if its too much but on low power setups you might get by with just a breather filter on the valve cover or something (ran my 270whp gsr like this for over 2 years with no issues)

Seems like you already have most of the setup so why not install it. It can only help.

yea I'm surely going to fully install my breather setup, my motor has more than a few miles and a slight rear main seal leak so I def don't need anything getting worse..if I can't scrounge up the fittings locally before my tune on Friday I'm more than likely just gonna have to come up with some kind of rig involving some plubing soldering skills and JB weld, when the going gets tough....
