anyone know where i can find a set of taillgate dampers (struts) for my ek hatch preferably oem, i've looked around but so far nothing

85268-SA5-003 STOPPER, TAILGATE (BLACK ) x2

should all be under 150 if you chose regular shipping ordered through Majestic honda

i had to get all new hardware when i got my ej6, it didnt have any dampers

 

kool..thanks, i only need the dampers tho all the hardware and everything is there, they used to work when i first got the car and then just stopped???

I would assume you could find them on Ebay or a junkyard sir.

haha thanks, when i picked up my hatch it didnt have any dampers or any parts at that so i had to get them all and had all the part numbers laying around. everytime i order parts i always save them to a notepad on my desktop know someone will need it eventually.

 

junkyard's the first place i looked, but no hatches! i looked on ebay but could'nt find oem ones, i dont want to buy some cheap replica ones and have 'em not fit properly or not work

 

Retrofit some other ones. Maybe some hood dampers for something? some aftermarket hood dampers from an Honda civic hood. You could have some bling in the trunk!

 

o'reilly auto parts. like $20 a piece i think.
