ok how do you know if your starter is good or bad?
i did a h22 swap but i think my problem is with the starter.
i just replaced the ground wire that goes from the battery to the block.
i tried taking a hot wire to the starter and it didnt do anything.
also i think theres a ground missing on the bracket on the transmission.
im not sure. theres two holes in the backet and the one hole is where the ground wire from the battery goes.
any suggestions???

 

hammer on the starter with a big hammer, don't go crazy on it but give it a few good wacks. or wack on it while havin a friend turn the key over. or if a manual tranny, push the car then turn the key and pull the clutch out while rolling. if any these work bad starter or take it out and test at local auto parts store.
