Part number for starter cut relay (PIC included)?
Included in the pic below, boxed in red is the Starter Cut Relay. I've taken this printout to Autozone and Oreillys, along w/ the relay itself. None of them could figure out a matching part, mostly because their system does not include a starter cut relay (or so they told me). I am guessing that I may need to purchase it from the OEM
Any help in determining an OEM part number for this relay, or a number I can take to an automotive parts store would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
BTW, I have a 1994 Honda Civic EX, manual trans...bone stock.

If I am not mistaken, that is part of the factory alarm system. Does this car have a factory alarm on it? There are things listed in that diagram for ALL makes of cars. See the daytime running light relay? Thats canadian, but its still listed. Just because its there in the picture doesn't mean your car is equipped with that item. Whats the reason you are seeking this relay anyways?
Because my car won't start. I've replaced everything except for this (starter, ignition, clutch switch), and it still wont start. I searched my manual and am assuming that this is the last piece to the puzzle. Yes, my car has an alarm, no I don't know if it is factory or not. I've never used the alarm, and the person who sold it to me never used it, so I am not sure whether it even works. I've tested the relay and it is bad, and since I can turn the starter by wiring 12v+ straight to the starter, then it must be this.
Unless you have other suggestions, I don't see what else to change.

Also, if you say this is part of the factory alarm system, and i have it on my car, wouldn't that mean that my car came w/ a factory alarm? I'm no sherlock homes, but i would assume it does.

You didn't post in your original post if you had the factory alarm so I asked. If that pisses you off then either don't post on a public forum or include more information. Quite often you will find things on the car that are put there in normal production and simply not used until the rest of the components are added.
I don't see how you haven't thought to find a matching relay on the car (such as the A/C one listed above) to swap in its place. This would rule out the relay as your problem or identify your issue. I guess you aren't sherlock holmes as you said earlier.
This just seems like a smart *** response. Maybe I took it wrong...

Ah. Alright then, no harm no foul. Let us know.
You can swap it with your horn relay, too -- real easy because that horn relay is right there attached to the right side of the fuse box.

k i found out what mine is..it is the clutch pedal switch A. It is not a relay! i push on the button on the switch A and it starts easy. i think the part that makes contact isnt making contact with that switch cuz the rubber insert corroded and fell out. Honda puts a rubber insert in a hole that is suppsed to make contact with that switch..mine being an older car probably wore out...idk why honda even put an insert instead of just making the whole think flat and metal. well found my prob hope it helps you guys out.
And this fixed itself or the op pushed off a cliff. Come on guys post when you get it fixed... Geezz
