Default A gallon of brake fluid later...

Mods please don't move this, the brake section is dead.

Car is a '92 DX hatch with stock brakes.
I have bled these brakes so many times now, no air is coming out except for the right front caliper (last in the bleeding order).
No exaggeration, I have bled at least a gallon of fluid through the right front caliper and very small bubbles are still coming out.
I have checked for leaks over and over again and I see nothing leaking anywhere.
Air is getting in somewhere but fluid is not leaking out? I don't get it.

What I have done so far beside bleeding:

> Replaced flex line (soft line) with a used known good one
> Replaced caliper banjo fitting crush washers
> Replaced caliper with a used one
> Replaced bleeder bolt with a used one

I don't know what to do. Everyone I have talked to has no idea what the problem could be.

Any ideas are welcome.

I think i'm as stumped as everyone else. But just because I seriously can't think of anything else i'd try replacing the front hardline going for the prop valve to flex line, and the proportioning valve. (saw a prob valve with a missing welch plug on my last parts car, didn't seem to be leaking, but its something to check)

I thought about replacing the hard line from the prop. valve to the flex line, but are you saying to replace the prop. valve too?

Several times I have held the brake pedal down for 30 sec to a minute trying to force fluid out of where ever it may be leaking. Nothing.
I can't get my head around the fact that air is finding it's way in, but fluid is not leaking out.

Or maybe air isn't getting in, it's just there already...

Isn't the right front line paired with the left rear at the prop valve?
Maybe somehow, after all the bleeding I have done, there is still air in the left rear line, and it's making it's way to the right front through the prop. valve.

I dunno, all I can think of.

Yep, although i'd probably try replacing just that line first, proportioning valves aren't all that fun to change, especially if you happen to have a B-series in there.

That is weird

front right and left rear are paired together as are front left and right rear, so in the event something happens to a brake like or caliper, wheel cylinder you will have 1 front and 1 rear brake on opposite sides functional, but i'm guessing you already knew this.
