Are these bad cracks? (pics)
I'm in the process of doing a headgasket, water pump, timing belt, etc. I was cleaning the block off and saw some cracks.
Do you guys think I should be concerned about this?

I dunno what would cause the block to crack if it is a crack.
There's not much you can do about it if it is cracked though. If it's not leaking, don't worry about it.

Thanks. I'm going to lightly sand that area to see how far down it is or if they are just casting marks. They aren't in the block but in the top of the transmission.
