find a different block. I wouldn't buy from someone who doesn't know what they have.

I would never purchase a sleeved block without full receipts and/or without having a machine shop inspect it first. Just because a block has say Benson sleeves doesn't mean they were installed correctly.

Golden Eagle ductile Iron sleeved with a copper O-Ring. Nice stuff. No issues, no worries, Golden Eagle is the only location that puts them in. Reminds me of mine.. (Still have my original GE sleeved block from 2003, with about 40K miles of street fun and about 50or so road racing events)

You got lucky. No need to replace the o-ring, its fine, looks like a flat surface. Use and enjoy.

Yea very nice sleeves, I would at least check the deck to see if its level by using one of those flat bars and a set of feeler gauges

^^LOL on the unusable power band, I daily a b16 EF with a gt2860RS, you want a usable powerband nothing beats that lol

stock bore,Im going to freshen up the motor new bearings etc so I presume I can bore to 84 and just switch out pistons..or would that ruin the sleeve? turbo is an s372R and im trying to run mid 8's or better in a 1500 lb crx with a wheelie bar (my country has no class rules) .. what yall think?

I would def check the deck for straightness as stated above to be safe. Looks like someone polished the deck

You can bore out to 84mm just fine, but remember, unless it has an 89mm (LS/B20) stroke to it, there's no point in boring out that far. Don't go for odd sizes like 82mm ,83mm, as gasket replacement may take longer.

Sure. use an S372 if you want.
