ok so i got a obd0 b16a in my 91 crx dx... runs good... ok so my problem is that with car fully warm (gauge just a hair before middle) at idle it sounds as if it is trying to turn on something like its putting a load on the motor for just like 2 seconds then back to normal.. it happens like every min or so. the idle only drops like 30 rpms but is noticable. i have noticed the cooling fan is not coming on but the temp gauge is not hitting middle so i figure it don't switch on. does anyone have this problem? is there an easy way to track down where this "load" is coming from.... really bugs me sitting at a light..

 

Have you checked that the fan motor works?
