Apex wrap arround exhaust (mugen style) with turbo? Bad?
Hey guys am wondering if am loosing HP since I have the wrap arround apex 2 1/4 exhaust with my turbo kit?
How much power will i gain with a 3 inch straigh threw exhasut?

if you current muffler is not straight through, you could gain over 15hp by switching to a thermal. The more boost you run, the more HP you will free up.

Yeah there's a big difference. Probably more like 5-10 HP difference, but it's a lot more noticable than say going from stock to 2.25" on an NA motor.
I would think also that those wrap around (unless you really mean your exhaust is raping itself
) setups are not very efficient. That's a lot of tight bending at the very end of the exhaust which is not good for flow.
