My EF boggs in low gears.& battry light problems
so i have a stage 3 clutch on a JDM D15b the mini me swap with a si tranny. could that be my problem?I was told that it was my motor mounts.....but they look kinda new. but its more like a sputter. i know my piston rings need replaced and i found a engine rebuild kit for 240.00 bucks which i am going to be getting. or could this be my timing?
1 more question. my battery light was flickering on and off and some times stay on. so i got a new battery, and that solved my problem tell just a few weeks ago. so when my engine light comes on...which i replaced my tps and now my engine light comes on after a few minutes the light will not flicker as much...so when i flip on my heater the battery light will stay off. please dont tell me to drive with my heater on. so if thats what your going to tell me please do not even reply.
thanks

Could be your clutch, if your motor doesn't have the power to move it smoothly. I would look more closely at your fuel delivery and spark.
As for the battery light, it comes on when your alternator is no longer charging, for whatever reason. Look at your connections/grounds.
Put these 2 problems together and I'm gonna go out on a limb and say you have an electrical problem somewhere.

as far as the battery light make sure it is properly adjusted (the serpentine belt)
as far as your "bogging" it could be a number of things be a little more specific like does it only do it at a certain rpm or speed, only when cold? all the time? any idle problems?

so i just came in from looking under my hood, and i was checking some stuff out. my tps "wires" that plug into the tps are the green red and i think yellow it was..correct me if im wrong on that but its 3 wires going into the tps right???and the plug is very loose so i need to get a new one of them i think thats why my check engine light comes on after driving.but the light only comes on when im going stop or slow down..then i was looking at some hoses i think i need to replace them. one has electrical tape wrapped around it.don't know why and also looks like a few small holes in the hose.and when i pinch it the engine will want to die. so i hope this will fix a few of my problems what do you think about it?
