that ecu is chipped, that is what the sst chip is. however, there is no neptune RTP board in there.

so does that mean it was tuned with neptune or not because the guy who tuned it specifically said I purchased a neptune RTP license standard. It looks like one of speed innovations kits?????
Is this the factory ECU or did they swap it over and how do I get rid of it in the future and add hondata

There is a standard version of NepTune that uses a chip, but is NOT a NepTune RTP.

Who tuned it? If they're a NepTune dealer, it's likely NepTune. If not, it's not. It's really that simple.

All I want is to get my car fixed and get it off this chip on hondata. I've inspected the plugs and pistons I had my buddy check the AF and it's way off. So if you guys could tell me wether someone can put the car on hondata then I'll get the motor repaired and the oil leak stopped by someone reputable and find a new tuner

Why don't you stay with Neptune? It's really good you know!

Yes, you can go Hondata. That won't fix your obvious engine issues, which has nothing to do with NepTune or your current tuner.

yeah I know I'm just irritated. I paid to have my motor built and well I got it back running worse then before I had it rebuilt. Has nothing to do with my current tuner thats why I won't even begin to say who tuned it. Course the AF being off has me a little perplexed but **** happens. Bottom line is the head needs to be repaired and then it needs to be retuned.

Definitely. I hope you get it fixed up. NepTune or Hondata will run your setup just fine when everything is up and running.

The SST chip is not in a socket?

You could upgrade to the NepTune RTP, be able to log and make changes. As it sits you can datalog if you get a hulog datalogging setup from Moates.net

PM me who the tuner was please.
