Ok i know a good deal about almost everything about a car inside and out but trannys i have not yet atempted i have a automatic 96 4 door i pulled into the parkin spot and went to stop but the car wouldnt go into park the gear shifter went through all gears P N D 1 2 ect. but would only go forward as if it was is drive i turned off the car and now it wonnt start even if the shifter says its in park but obviously the tranny is still in drive what is going on silinoid switch linkage insight would help before i pull it all apart in a parking lot!!!
